Transfer fluid replacement is really easy. Drain plug is directly on the bottom, fill plug is half way up the transfer pointing toward the front of the vehicle. The fill and drain both have a 3/8 drive square to loosen and tighten ( 3/8 ratchet with extension, no socket ). Take the drain out and catch the fluid. Reinstall the drain, remove the fill. The transfer takes 80-90 gear oil. You can put the tip of the gear oil bottle into the fill hole and squeeze. Fill the transfer until gear oil pours out. The transfer is full when the fluid is level with the bottom of the fill hole. You know it is at the right level when it is not pouring out any longer. Reinstall the fill plug and clean up the mess. Remember the car has to be level to do this.
