The motor is a j35a8 from an 05 RL, the more aggressive cam one 11:1 cr gutted cats and from stock J pipe back custom exhaust with flow tech glass pack and super turbo muffler s/c from a 99 park avenue, ported and upgraded to 4.4” pulley walbro 255 fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure regulator AEM FIC computer all adapters custom made my myself, nobody makes them for the single SERP belt motors prank makes them for the 2 belt earlier gen motors all street tuned by myself, has not seen a dyno or track YET motor alone is rated at 300 stock, running about 9lb. With that comp ratio and amount of boost I would expect knocking on 400hp door |

New hear and extremely interested in getting my wife a 10-13 MDX
I am a Chevrolet LS boy myself but I really like the MDX. What would it take to install the Series II 3800 M90 on the 3.7 in the MDX? How would it be fueled? Would the boost be kept low enough, say 10 psi that detonation wouldn't be a problem? Also how robust is the transmission and driveline? Does it have it's own belt or does it share one with someone else? Installing the blower with either a direct port methanol system or a fogger system similar to a nitrous nozzle could work really good. One question though, where is the additional fuel picked up? Through direct port fuel delivery, is the amount sprayed it comes across the MAG, or a stand alone fuel system with it's own fuel system so the octane of the fuel can be more closely monitored? My wife and I have been checking out the MDX for 2 years but due to her travel she got an AWD CRV. Me on the other hand want to make everything faster so 162hp IS NOT CUTTING IT. WE

My blower came off a 99 regal. I made the adapter plates, which I can duplicate apon request. I run an AEM FIC stand alone with larger injectors, fuel pump and adjustable fpr. No issues with driveline.. yet lol |
