2G MDX buyers guide?
Looking to buy 07-08 mdx. I’ve searched but haven’t had any luck. Just wondering if there are any certain things to look for/beware of before buying. Thanks

If you get the Sport version, expect the shocks ($1,000 each plus installation/dealer) to fail. Some fail as soon as 35,000 miles. Many convert their shocks to the Base model version ($750 DIY)
It has a timing belt that needs replaced every 7 years or 105,000 miles (which ever comes first ($1,400/dealer).
The back up lights do not illuminate very much, because they're so small.
The roof rails will sometimes leak, in to the rear, over the rear fuse panel.
The driver's door harness can be an issue($200/dealer).
The 2010 thru 2013 have been reported to use 1 quart of oil, every 1,000(ish) miles.
