I was looking at the fluid levels on my 2011 MDX (tech package), 30,300 miles. Mainly city driving, light use. Noticed that the levels on the power steering fluid and brake fluid seemed a bit low.
When I called the dealership to inquire whether they can be topped off. I was told that these fluids would need to be flushed
and topping them would be risking introducing an air bubble. They quoted $150 for flushing brake fluid and $160 for power steering
fluid.
My understanding was that these fluids can be topped off per the OM as part of regular service. Is this not the case?
I've attached pictures of power steering and brake fluid levels. Wondering if these are fine for now or need flushing/topping off

Power Steering Oil can get low because of a small leak, Its very rare to evaporate or consume itself out.. So if its a little low it was either underfilled last time it was flushed or you have a small leak.
Brake Fluid can get low only for 2 reasons: LEAK (Which is rare) or BRAKE PAD WEAR (99% of the Times). So I will guess you need brake pads asap.

Flushing the P/S Oil is quite easy DIY, But you can top off for sure.. Try to do a flush ASAP.
DO NOT TOP OFF BRAKE FLUID!!!!!!!!!! This is low either by a leak or brake pad wear, If you top off next time you change brake pads it will make a huge mess when the tech/you pushes the caliper piston in.
