2011 MDX Car Alarm Randomly Going Off
The car alarm on my 2011 MDX has been randomly going off recently. I also noticed that the car does not beep anymore when I press the lock button on the remote. Not sure if the two issues are related. The alarm went off twice this morning at around 6am. Any advice before my neighbours kill me?

If the alarm does not beep it's because one of the sensors is malfunctioning...
Sensors are: Doors (4x), Hood (1x), Tailgate (1x)..
To diagnose its simple:
-Doors: Open each door and the dome light must come on with each door.. Check 1 door at a time obviously, If the dome light does not come on with 1 specific door then the door switch is bad and it's causing the issue.
-Tailgate: Same procedure as doors, Open Tailgate and the dome light must come on.
-Hood: This is impossible to diagnose but is 99.999% the culprit of random alarms going off.
I could bet you need a new Hood Release Sensor, Sadly this sensor is not repleaceable you must replace the entire hood latch piece.
