Does anyone know if the 2010 silver roof rails will fit on a 2008? I much prefer the silver to the black ones.

To my knowledge, nobody has done such a switch, at least on this board. I'd just go to the dealer and park your 2008 next to a 2010 and measure. That way you know for sure. I would be surprised if they were different sizes, but the hardware/mounting possibly could haver changed....but it may be possible.

Thanks for the response. I called Curry Acura and was told that it's not possible but I'm not sure if the guy I spoke with really knew. It seems as though it wouldn't be possible since there's a different part number for the black rails for the 2010 vs. the 2007-2009. I'd expect the part number to be the same if they were interchangeable.

a different color would call for a different part number even though it's the same dimensions!

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear in my post. The black rails for the 2010 and the black rails for the 2007-2009 have different part numbers even though they seem to be identical. That's what's making me think they're not interchangeable. If the black 2010 rails will fit a 2008, I'd assume the silver rails would fit too.
