Hey all, I'm new here. Looking forward to fun conversations. This one might not be so fun - I have a passenger side HID bulb that isn't working and am thinking it's the entire ballast since the bulb didn't look burned. I have a couple questions as I'm going to try to DIY this replacement.

1) is the ballast the same thing as the assembly?
2) is there a certain type of HID that is in the 2005 MDX?

The 2005 does not have HID's. Both low and high beam are halogen. If it does have HID's then they are aftermarket.
