03' MDX Navigation Screen Inverted (Negative) Colors

Issue is just as the title says. Seems my navi screen is going out but after the vehicle warms up about 15 minutes or so, it works like normal with no issues. I've tried clearing it's memory and running what diagnostics reside in the system, but as soon as the vehicle sits cold for a while, the problem reappears. Obviously given the year of it, repair or replace is fairly cost prohibitive.

Curious if anyone has experienced this, and any advise you may have.

Thanks!

Sounds like hardware is going out. possible solder joints cracking... get a junkyard unit?

Thanks. Seems likely it's failing hardware.

I haven't checked any junkyards yet, but used units running around $200-300 from what I've found on the web so far, which really isn't worth it for how old it is. Really biggest issue is losing your detailed HVAC controls, but other than the screen not cooperating, the unit's computer is running as expected.
