What company sold you the custom springs?
I've received my front OEM base shocks/springs and I would like to remove the new springs and use something a little shorter.
If I don't like the stance, I'll work on the rear later and get it more level.
Thanks, for your contribution.
discovered what? care to elaborate? lol!!! what did you do differently and how.
Sorry, I just meant that I just discovered your post as I'm mostly on mdxers.org. If you didn't cross post this, I wouldn't have come across it.
As for others, my springs are cut but ride is still very good. I've never cut springs before and have had over a dozen proper aftermarket suspension setups in my previous cars. This is my preference but for this model, aftermarket items are slim picking and you have to improvise sometimes. I don't want to get into a debate on this but I know what works and that's all I care about for this particular application.

The lower rubber mount from the 08 odyssey is STK parts (which is 07-13 MDX related)
51684-STK-A02
51694-STK-A02
Here's the spring + shock + mounting parts on the 07 Odyssey :
Spring is like the one in the 51815 kit i received + mounting parts are completely different from MDX
Here's the 08 Odyssey :
Here's the 07-13 MDX base model front
I ordered 51815-2 kit today and i'll try to sell 51815 on eBay (because returning fees would cost me around $120)

No cookie cutter solution has been found, to lower the 2nd gen MDX. As with any vehicle you can cut the length, of the original springs making them shorter, but you change the luxury ride into a horrible ride. A couple have tried, but nobody does this. If you're going to cut them...buy them from a junk yard and cut those. After you ride on them, you'll be able to go back to your original springs.

ya not going to cut the springs LoL, the MDX does not deserve that! But I noticed they had springs that actually fit in their pics, so if anyone knows what parts/ numbers those are please send a message or link.
