Ferrari: F12 Berlinetta News **tdf Version Revealed (page 7)**
Ferrari is coming off a banner year, and the Italian automaker will continue that momentum with a mystery unveiling at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
Ferrari is keeping extremely tight-lipped about its Geneva plans but Luca di Montezemolo, Ferrari’s chairman, has revealed that Ferrari will unveil a new V12 engine at the annual show. Di Montezemolo indicated the new V12 would debut in a new vehicle rather than one of Ferrari’s current models.
“We now have a complete range of models which will be joined in a few days time at the Geneva Show by a new 12-cylinder. A revolutionary new car that delivers extreme performance and unprecedented power output,” he said.
Although no specific model was mentioned, it is believed the new V12 will debut in 599 GTB Fiorano-successor. That car, internally known as the F152, is expected to boast 700 horsepower and a price tag of about $350,000.

Aventador... eat your heart out
Are we going to get lambo style teasers for the week leading up to Geneva or does Ferrari not do that?

Hmmm....
The new Ferrari is a V-12.....the Aventador is a V-12
The new Ferrari has 700 horsepower....the Aventador has 700 horsepower
So what was the Aventador eating it's heart out for?

Oops, sorry, I was thinking Enzo successor the whole time i wrote that for some reason. Gonna go ahead and issue you and everyone else who had to read that an Internet Apology.
Regardless,
I imagine Ferrari has more than pure horsepower in mind for the successor to the 599, the GTO was quite a sendoff and with all the tech coming down from the 599XX Evo I doubt this thing will be a slouch around a corner, so it might still warrant some eyebrow raises from the Aventador...
Then again... front mid-engined GT vs the spine snapping aventador might not be the fairest matchup...
Idk anymore...hurry up Geneva

It looks its wearing a 458 mug like the FF is in this pic... you can see the sharp creases on either side angled up towards the headlights in the tiny open pic.

"Our friends at eGarage.com were also nice enough to provide some specs, which come directly from Ferrari. The F620 GT's 6.3-liter V12 will produce 740 horsepower and 690 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful twelve-cylinder engine ever made by Ferrari. With a redline of 8,700 rpm, this powerplant will move the Italian grand tourer to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds and 100 mph in 8.3 seconds. It's also lighter, lower and shorter than the 599 it's replacing."

looks OK. Losing weight and getting smaller as well which is also very good. I've only seen a few 599's in visiting Miami and they looked just slightly too large. That power and weight are pretty close to a NASCAR. I suppose this motor is a new F140 variant.

Wow
I'm still a die-hard Lamborghini fan though. The Aventador would get my $400k rather than this.
