just shoot this.. its my first time taking anything like this.. i was eating and saw this beautiful sky.. So i just stepped outside real quick and took this. (2.8 wide open.. 1/30.. handheld)

Can you guys give me some advice/tips please? What are some key settings do I have to have to shoot landscape I guess. I should have used my tripod and bump up the f stops to like 10.. but it was just too cold lol

The way you got the soft palatte and greens really makes me feel like I'm looking at Virginia.

I was on an annual 'guys weekend' with some buddies this past weekend. I took a ton of photos last year - didn't take as many this year as the weather wasn't as good and the blackflies were terrible. I have more than a dozen shots where you can see the flies were sitting on the lens. My arms are covered in bites.

I wasn't 'feeling it' with my camera until I laid down in the grass and snapped this series...
