Ive seen it. It was a car from NY i think, had bump bars much like that on a cop car.

Not only will they be bent up but they will be smashed into your bumper. Now you have the bumpers and the tubes in the trash.

The ones in your posted links are made by WAAG and you can find them at WAAG.com. You would likely need to talk to them about custom making them for the TL. I believe the primarily make them for SUVs.

I saw a Black type-s downtown manhattan once with both guards, front and back. i figure its a busines carr and they want to protect the investment.

ive seen some people put their toe hooks in just incase the car in front of them bumps into them. it works to a certain extent but it protect the whole bumper. not sure about the back.

I added to cj's chop. IMO, it adds a little more protection for the times you need to do a pit manuever + extra lights when you take your TL off roading.

I really, really want you to meet this person because if you asked them, I'd bet even money they wouldn't say they installed it for loox. Most likely, the majority of their parking is done on the street and probably got tired of people knicking the bumpers while parallel parking. A TL may not be the highest end, but it's not a Chevy Cavalier either. Knowing people like you are out there thinking stuff like this is "cool" scares the heck out of me. Show some respect for it being a luxury car.

This comment never makes since to me. Whether I'm standing directly in front of the car or looking at a photo someone took standing directly in front the car, it will still look like crap. Now if you told me that the bumper guard was going to reach out and offer me a handjob, then yeah, that's definitely something to see in person (if you're into auto-erotic sort of thing, that is)
