Moved to the MDX section for you. Looks like both the ZDX and 2007+ MDX share the 5x120 bolt pattern. And welcome to the forums!

I've wondered this too. Right, the bolt pattern matches up, I believe the ZDX rim is wider. The MDX is 18 x 8 and I think the ZDX rim is 19 x 8.5.

I already switched out my tech for sport rims, so I probably wouldn't go through the trouble of getting new rims and tires, but for fun here's a photoshop I did back when the ZDX concept came out. In reality the rims would be larger since I photoshopped it to cover the 18 inch ones.

Yes they will. I know that cuz I put them on mine. Here is the pic. You will need to get MDX TPMS sensors however.

A side note... I took off the 19" Advanced rims and put the 20" ZDX ACC. wheels. Same should apply to taking off the stock 18's and putting on stock ZDX 19's.

I've been waiting to see this combo (MDX w/ ZDX 20s)...NICE ...

Did you get them from the dealer? I imagine that's the only route at this point...

Yes from the dealer. But I went with a high performance tire as opposed to the suggested Michelin all season. I will run the stock 19's in the winter.

I wanna say 275/45/20. These are the ZDX option wheels. The factory ZDX rims are 19's and arent chrome. If you are taking off 18" inch MDX rims the stock ZDX rim will be an inch bigger and more subtle.

What about the calibration for having bigger wheels. Is your speedo off?

RacingHart's ZDX 20s look so clean on the MDX that I wanted to get a better picture of what the 19s would look like...so I did a PS job on an '08...it looks pretty good...

WOW. Wish I hadn't seen that photoshop! Wonder how much take-offs would be . . .

Just as an academic exercise, I was looking at tire sizes, etc for fun. Looks like if you use the ZDX rims it's best to use the ZDX tires due to the increased width of the wheel.

MDX rims and OEM tire combinations

18 x 8
255/55/18 = 29 inch diameter tire

19 x 8
275/45/19 = 28.7 inch diameter tire

ZDX rims and OEM tire combinations

19 x 8.5
255/50/19 = 29 inch diameter tire

20 x 8.5
275/40/20 = 28.7 inch diameter tire

Since the ZDX rims are 0.5" wider, to compensate they say it adds 0.2" to the section width if you used the 19" MDX tires, which would make the diameter 28.3 inches, or something close to that.

I don't know the offsets for the rims but would it be right to say you could just take 19" ZDX rim takeoffs with the OEM tire and it would fit the MDX as is?

The increase in rim size is offset by lower profile tire. Rolling circumference is the about the same.

Damn racinghart that looks amazing.

I've been waiting to see that combo also but I'm too cheap to spend the $ for those rims.

I'm running 255/50/19 on my 2006 and they fit perfect (on 8.5" wheels). So 1G and 2G can run 255/50/19 all day long. In fact, the 2007-2009 19" wheel option (that look like A-Specs) ran with 255/50/19 tires.

I'd wait for a 19" ZDX take-off set with wheels and tires...cheaper to get both and just mount and go...

Was gonna go aftermarket but nothing beats OEM for fitment so I just stayed with OEM stuff. May not be the sickest looking set up but it gets the job done. Aftermarket rims came in at almost the same price believe it or not. Was looking at MOMO cyclones and they were about 600 each. Same as these. Then who knows about offset, TPMS yada yada. I knew for sure these would work so thats why I just went the easy route!!

If anyone is interested, Acura of Lynnwood has the 20" (like RacingHarts) for $1,825 a set (without tires) via ebay.

Dont forget your MDX TPMS sensors. These rims come with ZDX sensors which have had different FCC ID numbers than the MDX.

For those interested, here's a non-Photoshopped pic of my 2010 Tech with ZDX OEM 19" rims. I picked these take-offs from my dealer at a great price, as they had a new ZDX that they wanted to feature with the optional 20" package. I turned around and sold my OEM MDX 18's to a private party who wanted to de-PAX their Odyssey for the same amount I paid for the 19's. Bottom line: Everybody wins.

Many thanks for the comments, Type34. I just added an album to the Photo Gallery with a couple other shots. I wanted something that looked OEM but more subtle than the optional MDX chrome or sparkle silver wheels. This fit the bill perfectly and as you say, it's definitely distinctive.

There's a set on ebay for sale for $2000 (not mine). Here are some pics from the auction. They look sweet, but not sure if it's 2k sweet though...

$2K is a stretch, not to mention that the wheels & tires advertised are used and have Hankook Ventus tires mounted, not the OEM Michelins.

FWIW, I paid less than $1K for a set of brand new take-off OEM ZDX 19x 8.5's with new 255/50/R19 Michelin Latitude Tour HP's - and sold my OEM 2010 18x 8" MDX wheels w/ 255/55 R 18 Latitude Tour HP's w/ 2500 miles on them for the same amount.

The wheels/rims are officially off the truck. They only got 2 miles if that on them (the sticker is still on the tread of the tire). If interested send me a message. Trying to let go of them soon. I am located in MD.
