I have a 2007 acura mdx and yesterday on the freeway it gave me a transmission warning and the D for drive was blinking. It will shift 1st-3rd just fine but will not go above 3rd even if i try with the sport shifter... where do i start???

Check with your dealer? There aren't enough things you can check to diagnose a possible electronic issue..
