Thumbs up What a great road trip vehicle!

Just completed our first long road trip in our '08 MDX going from Oregon to Texas. This critter was born to cruise! We covered the 2400 miles in 3 days and I was able to drive 11+ hours a day without much fatigue. Plus we got right around 25 mpg cruising at 70-80, depending on local limits. That certain exceeded my expectations and is almost what my '05 RL gets.

The longest trip I've made in mine so far was about 3 hours, but I totally agree. It is a very comfortable ride. Especially coming from a Lancer Evolution

Agreed! I've done multiple trips now driving ~10 hours from IN to NC and the MDX just eats up the miles.

We're going to Florida in a few months, gonna try to make it in a day!

Good luck! Just be careful when driving that many hours in one day.

How can you compare the evo to the mdx? two totally different vehicles. if you compared it to an envoy or sequoia,..maybe..but an evo?

MDX is an excellent highway cruiser. She really moves when needed and being high helps. Recently did Pittsburgh ot NC (7.5 hours), it was a smooth ride (I did miss my RL though).

Yes, it is a sweet road car. Wife and I just completed an 19 hr drive (TX to MI) and then back after a few days with family. Great car and I could really pack the stuff in!
