weird noise from behind the radio when starting the car

Hi all,
I have a 2011 MDX and I recently started hearing a weird noise behind the radio when I first start the car. The noise is very consistent and sounds like 3 rumbles that last about a second each (trrrrrrrrrrrrr, trrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, trrrrrrrrrrr) then everything is perfect. I have no idea when this noise started happening, because I have been using the auto starter for the last few winter months.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

possibly the hard drive spinning/booting up

I don't think so, I tried to put the ignition on but not to start the car, even though the radio was on, it and it didnt maker the noise. Also, during today there was only one rumble in lieu of 3.

Wait 40 years and the noise will be gone. No really, it's probably the HVAC system opening a damper.

just so frustrating, I don't know if I should take it to the dealership over this.

Did they ever identify and fix this? Can you share with me. Mine sounds like a quiet machine gun or street jackhammer. Everything else is okay. Noise lasts maybe half a minute?
