Unplug the Battery Connection

Hello Friends,

I have a 2001 Acura MDX Touring Package. I am traveling for 5 days and my car will be sitting in my garage. I do not know how long the battery lasts; should I just unplug the battery cable so that battery does not run out or it will be fine for 5 days?

Thanks
Eric

You'll be fine....you can do longer too, depends on the battery life (how much left), weather temperature, any aftermarket electrical things (gremlins?) tha could potentially drain it, etc. but you should be fine. Five days is nothing

^+1 Agreed. Five days shouldn't matter at all. Think of all the business folks that leave there cars at the airport for a week. Admittedly there are going to be some that have issues starting but in general five days shouldn't impact a good battery.
