towing with an MDX
2010 MDX Adv.
I picked up an enclosed 6x12 that's 1700 pounds empty.
it should be around 3000-3500 pounds max, but normally around 2500-3000 pounds.
towing would be trips that range 8-20 hours about 6-8 times a year
any of you run into issues, or anything i should know besides checking/changing the transmission fluid more often?

You got the 6 speed so you can use the new ridgeline as comparison as they have the same transmission.. You even have more power on the 3.7L.
TFL maxed out the new ridgeline to 5000lbs and did the hardest test they have:

what about fluids intervals?
front/rear diff and tranny fluids will need to be changed more often.
how do you guys change your diff with that crossbeam in the way?

Obviously they will have to be replaced twice as fast if you tow..
-Transmission Fluid as per the manual is every 30K (Average is 15K a year so that is 2 year interval). You should be changing ATF every year if towing.
-Engine Oil - MID will adjust when you tow so it will ask for Engine Oil changes quite faster in the range of 3-5K.
-Brake Fluid Unless your RV, Trailer does not have its own independent brakes? should remain the same.. But in any case Honda says every 5 years, do it every 2-3years, etc.
-Transfer Case is every 30K, You will have to do it every year as well.
-SH-AWD diff fluid is every 30K, again you will have to change it every year.
"how do you guys change your diff with that crossbeam in the way" I do not understand this question, "Change your diff"? If you mean SH-AWD Fluid there are 2 service holes that are quite accesible to change the diff fluid.

I found another thread where they use a gear oil pump to get the gear oil in the differential.
So I found that answer after posting the question.
