'06 MDX has 90K mi. and had T-Conv. replaced at 70K. Needs again, but dealer said waiting for new TSB on issue. MDX has also developed high pitched whine - dealer states trans issue but nothing other than a noise~can replace trans ($1100 my share) or just live with noise. I have read about existence of TSB 05-024, but can't find it. Any help on finding TSB? Any others with similar issues? I am concerned about a noise being only a noise...and the torque conv. issue. Thanks for your help.

 

I am having my TC replaced right now in my 05 X. I don't have any noise problems, but I don't see how a noise can just happen. Laws of physics and all. Does the whine happen all the time or just at certain speeds/rpms/gears?
