Looking at tirerack and there are a couple options

Kumho Solus KR21
Kumho Solus KH16
Sumitomo HTR A/S P01
Continental ProContact with EcoPlus Technology

Which one of these would you guys go for? Does anyone have any first hand experience with these?

 

we had the Solus KH16 on an old RAV4. Pretty decent given what we paid for it and its at 60,000 miles so far. Just looking visually at the tread, I am sure we can get at least another 10,000 to 15,000 out of them before we replace them. VALUE !

 

Ive installed the sumis on customers cars and they seem ok for the money. They are a far cry from the Michelins though. And ANYTHING round is better than those Bridgestones.

 

KR21 = Entry Level Tire 6/10
KH16 = Entry Level Tire 6/10
Sumitomo = Below Entry Level Tire
Conti = Pretty good middle of the road tire
Michelin = What I use. What I suggest.
Yokohama = I would use, I have used, I would suggest
