Timing belt replacement problem

I have an 03 with 211K miles so I had my second timing belt done by my mechanic who services all my cars (2 Pilots and 2 Lexus') - in other words, I trust him. I turned the air conditioning on in the late afternoon and all I got was hot air blowing out of the vents. The air was working fine prior to me bringing him the car. I called him immediately and all he said is he didn't do anything to the car which is really not what I thought he should say. Then I asked him specifically if there was something located near the timing belt that has to do with the AC and he said there could be a loose plug. I did some research on the internet and see that other people, but with different model cars, have experienced the same thing. I have to bring the car back tomorrow, which is a hassle, but was wondering if anyone experienced the same thing with their MDX or know what it could be.

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
