Staggered wheels

Anyone here tried staggered wheels on the 2nd generation MDX 07-09?

I'm not sure if it's advisable since our all wheel drive is primarily 100% front wheel at the start.

Since I had an Evo before the MDX I frequent the Evo forums a lot and noticed that there is a way to do this safely. As long as the tire heights are the same all the way around it should be ok. You most likely have to mess with a tire calculator and find out what size tires you will need for the front and the backs but it is possible. I've never seen this done on and MDX though.

the X5 4.6is/4.8is had a staggered set up on their SUV's.

275/40R-20 F/ 315/35R-20 R W-rated performance are their original sizes.

actually, i heard this was a bad idea. the 4wd sensor might constantly be noticing something wrong and you can wear out that rear diff very quickly. I could be wrong, but that's just what I heard.
