Remote audio controls (the buttons on the steering wheel)
What category of the fuses does the remote audio control fall under?
Do they go under radio or do they have their own fuse?
I checked the manual and couldnt a fuse for remote audio control. Are they under something else?
I ask because sometimes the volume down button actually turns up the volume. And the volume up shifts to the FM presents. Other times they work like they are suppose to.

Mine does the same thing! This is a noted problem with the 1Gen MDX's.
It's not the fuse that's the problem.
There's a thread on here(IIRC) that states the cause as being a faulty groung(negative wire) in the steering column. The steering wheel has to be removed, and a washer has to be replaced on the screw that holds the said ground wire.
Doesn't really bother me, though! Whenever it acts up, I just stretch my right hand, lol, and turn the volume knob on the radio(to lower the volume). If I want to raise it, I use the one on the steering wheel. Funny, I know, lol.
Too much is involved in removing the steering wheel(air bag) for such a small inconveniece.
