Premature rear windshield washer.

When you use your front windshield washer does the rear washer leak some windshield washer on the rear window? This is getting a little annoying to me; wipe front then back even though I didn't squirt any back there.

I have a 2011 Acura MDX advance with entertainment

CivEx, I also have a 2011 MDX advance with entertainment, cheers! I don't think mine does the same thing you are describing (but I might be wrong). Although the front and rear washers use the same liquid reservoir (see owners manual pp. 125-127), they suppose to operate independently. I would contact your local dealer and ask them to take a look at your washer operation.

Good luck!

Are you sure you are not partially turning the knob when you use the front ?. I found that I have to pull straight back with my middle finger for the front, so as to avoid squirting the back. If I grab the know with my other fingers and pull it will twist a little, and the back will squirt. I also try to avoid handling the end of the knob for the front (I pull near where the rob meets the tip) when doing the front. For the rear, of course you have no choice but to handle the end of the switch.
