Planning to buy a 05-06 MDX. Any issues?
I had a CL-S for past 5-6 years and it's been fairly good to me. transmission did finally fail at 240kms but I can't really say I didn't expect it. Rebuilt by an Acura mechanic with all new parts and running strong again.
So now I got married and need a second vehicle to replace an old broken down corolla my wife is driving right now (pretty much a tin can). I will most likely give her the CL and will be driving the MDX.
What I needed to know is what to look out for? Any transmission issues on 05-06s? How are the brakes? Any trouble spots in the engine? anything else I should be aware of?

They're pretty solid overall. There was a torque converter issue on some, EGR issue on some, read through the forum and you'll get to see it all.
We have an 04 in the family with 123K miles on it that has been very good to us.
