I have been looking in here for a while. Thank you for all the great feedback. So I got a 2008 MDX with 76K Miles From the auction. The Carfax etc checked out great. All local....

So I get the car and i have the VAS and Check SH-AWD messages. I took it to a local guy and he cleared all the codes and these TWO errors appear right away. I also used my OBD2 scanner and no codes. I also had them change the battery since it didnt look so good...

What he told me was that some dealers will disconnect something so OTHER dealers don't BID on that car. He said it seems like the AWD system is not connection to the main computer. Also, my Bluetooth handsfree isn't working. Not sure if they are connected.

I am just curious if anyone knows what possibly someone could have disconnected to get this error. I imagine its a quick fix...Otherwise the car drives wonderful..

If u don't mind me asking what did u pay for it??? I'm looking at getting one similar year, mileage.
