Hey all I need some advice on living with an MDX.

I was given a 2001 MDX with 100k miles by (an awesome) family member who just bought a mercedes GL550. .

I am currently driving an 03 cl type s 6 speed. Unfortunately I cannot keep both cars (insurance and property tax is way too much $$).

So my question is do I keep the cl and sell the MDX or sell the cl and keep the MDX. What is the MDX like to live with? common problems, (transmission?) mpg any input would be great!

how many miles on the CL ?

The early MDX's {2001 - 2003} have documented trans like glass problems.
Check it out via history records like Edmunds ETC.
Unless you know that the trans has been replaced ... sell it !
I would also pick a GL 550 over one of those first gen MDX's like
the orig owner did but think the new MDX's are way to go.
