New guy looking for a 2010 out there

What's going on peoples, I'm new here just saying what's up. I'm doing my research on the new 10 MDX. It's for the wife. She's really digging the car, and before I saw it in person and test drove it I didn't think too much of it. I was taken away by it, great car for the price. Wanted a Q7 but it's out of our league right now, and with another baby on the way we need the bigger car. So just saying whatup, and love the site reminds me of my other 'home' audizine. Hopefully you guys can help me out with any questions.

Welcome minira. I was in the same boat as you. I never even thought of getting an MDX. My wife and I went to look at an RDX but found it a little too small. Then we looked at the TL, but still not fitting our needs. Finally, we looked at the MDX and I was impressed with it, and my wife surely liked it as well. To find out that it's rated as the #1 mid size SUV is icing on the cake.

Welcome! The MDX is a great choice and like drksyd said, it's been rated number one in nearly every automobile comparison since it came out. The Q7 is nice but the MDX will provide a great ownership experience with it's terrific reliability and performance.

Thanks guys. Mdx is a great car. Being an Audi fanboy of course the Q7 is our #1. But the MDX is really really. nice. I think the Q drives better but can't justify what you can get in the MDX for the price. Wish it had a panaroma roof but maybe in the future? Haven't heard too many problems with the motor like other new audis. Wish me luck in my search, hopefully can post pics next month or so.

I just got out of an Odyssey Touring and that is a great family vehicle. Lots of room and very easy access with the sliding doors. I would actually have kept it but the paint was going south pretty fast. I couldn't see paying off the loan and then tacking on another $6k for a good paint job.

I have a minivan, but with a fourth kid on the way wanted to make sure that we had two vehicles that could fit everyone. Added the MDX to have a third row of seats in something that is actually shorter than a Dodge charger that I currently drive that is coming up for lease end soon.

I have had it for a couple fo weeks and love it. Got an '05 used.
