So far so good on the LED's. I had to change the strip lights on the running board quite a few times. I think I'll have to look elsewhere for some reliable strip lights. Everything else has held up just fine. Oh and the driver side LED fog light lost a couple circuits, so I ended up changing both sides to newer versions. Amazingly, the DRLs are still going strong.

Nom-nom-nom!!!
$50 for a full tank?! That deserves a Ric Flair "Wooooooooooooooooooo!!"
How difficult was it for you to install the LED's in the fog light housing? I'd like to do something similar, but I'm such a novice with 'modding' cars...

You have to unscrew the plastic panel underneath the fog light area and fish your hands in the space to remove the bulb (twist and pull). Installing is the same thing in reverse. It takes maybe 15 minutes per side, so half an hour total.

Please forgive me if this was answered in the tread (i didn't read it all lol), but you seem to have had your led drl for awhile now, did you ever have any problems with a bulb out warning or anything? I remember looking at less a few years back and everyone had a warning after a month or two?

Just replaced OEM Michelins after 54,000 miles. Great tire and worth the price. However, decided to go with Yokohama YK580s as replacements. I've always been a fan of Yokohamas and these have gotten great reviews, on par with the Michelins, but are much cheaper.
Also, finally ordered a dashcam for the X. Hopefully can these installed before the summer road trip.
We'll see how this works out.

Which dashcam did you end up going with? I started shopping around today after hearing my insurance agent that I can get a discount from my rates for having it installed.

Amazon.com : Black Box G1W-H Hidden Dashboard Dash Cam - WDR 160° Wide Angle 4X ZOOM - Full HD 1080P H.264 2.7" LCD Car DVR Video Recorder - Night Vision Motion Detection G-Sensor - NT96650 + AR0330 : Car Electronics
I purchased 2, one for the rear window. I originally wanted to go with Blackvue, but could't justify spending upwards of $500 on a dashcam.
Amazon should have them at my house by tomorrow, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that install will be a snap.

Side note: Not sure what happened to all the pics on the previous pages. And I wish I could change the title of this thread, since the MDX is technically not new anymore.

Weekend Project.
Decided to tackle the low light lighting quality for the reverse camera at night. Here's my solution.
Installed LED light bar underneath, alongside the rear axle.
The LED bar is mounted to a separate switch.
Camera image without LED Bar:
Camera image with LED Bar:
LED light bar lit independently of reverse lights:
For Comparison:

Strange doesn't show up on work pc but does outside, looks very nice.
Where did you get the LED light bar from, also how did you wire it?

It's a simple neg/pos connection to a lighted 12v power plug.

The red light on the plug is also an on/off switch, so that gives me a little more control over the power.

Still going strong at 104,000 miles.
So far, changed the spark plugs. Will take it in dealer to get the rest of the 105,000 service completed.
No major issues other that a caliper change under warranty and I changed out both exterior mirror actuators due to the annoying clicking sound.
Other that those minor details, the old girl is still solid!

Hopefully, no serious injuries. Looks like the MDX did its job.

No serious injuries, thankfully. Minor aches and pains, but all good.
The MDX really performed well. That Ford hit me pretty hard, running the red light at about 45 mph, and the MDX stood its ground. I commend Acura safety feautures.
