MDX transmission

MDX transmission
I have a 2004 MDX. The transmission was replaced under warranty by the dealership in 2008 or so. From the beginning, I've complained about the transmission, shifter, and shifting. They dealership said, everything is fine, it just needs to loosen up. Well, 9 years later, it's doing the same thing, and now the transmission is making the same noises it did in 2007, the shifter never loosened up, and I still can't shift into anything but D5. D1,2,3,4 don't hold gears, it's always in D5. Of course, the dealership says it's not their problem. Anyone have any luck working with Acura regional managers to get issues resolved?

screw acura. you are going to get the run around, because corporate ran the numbers and doesnt make sense unless they charge $8000 in labor.
your best bet will be to grab a junk yard tranny and wish for another 8 years.
P.S. MOST Honda's in that year range had tranny trouble, thus why I think you will get no help unless you pay for their labor...at that point, you might go for the cheapest route possible on a 13 year old vehicle
