I've heard good things about Continental DWS tires and I plan to switch to them once my tires wear out. Excellent tire life, great light snow/rain/dry performance, quiet ride, and most of all, great value for money. Here's a video from tirerack that compares to top all-season tires:
Keep in mind, the more performance oriented they are, the lower the tread life.

the DWS on a 4500lb SUV...is not really a good combo. i would be weary of using the DWS tires on the MDX. i have them on my TL. they are great on the TL however i do lose my cornering confidence. they are known for soft sidewalls. even though the DWS are UHP tires, they have a great treadwear rating (50k mi). however i dont' expect to get the 50k due to the way i drive
for the MDX, i've been looking at the bridgestone dueler alenzas (not the OEM ones), general grabbers, pirelli scorpions, or perhaps the new conti cross contacts for crossovers. those would be my choices without researching all the little details.

I was worried after reading the complaints of the soft sidewall on the DWS as, but I don't really plan on pushing my car to the limit. I chose these tires for their tread life and comfort, otherwise I would've gone with DW's, but 15-20,000 mile tread life scared me away. If anything, the soft sidewall can be cured with a little overinflation.

don't forget the flat spotting on theDWS...add the weight of the MDX...
i know about increasing the PSI. i'm up 2-3 each corner from OEM spec. i still get flatspotting (though not as severe) and cornering feels a little better in the TL.
for me, it would not be my first choice for the MDX. i'd pick a more dedicated crossover tire for the MDX over a UHP tire that is designed with a sports sedan in mind. there are CUV/SUV tires with good treadlife...it's a matter of finding one. i tend to push the corners and turns a bit more in the MDX like the TL... comfort and treadlife are factors for me as well.
