Ipod/MP3 Player integration - 08 MDX Tech

Looking for a mp3 player integration solution for our 08 MDX-Tech.

Do any of the kits (isimple/peripheral, dice, usa-spec, etc) work?
I read around and there's some conflicting reports. Anyone actually have one installed in their MDX?

Requirements are text on navi screen, and able to control from the steering wheel - similar to how a mp3 cd/dvd would be.

BTW..if XM needs to be disconnected for any of them, that's fine as we don't have XM here in Hawaii...

they dont work if you have the XM Nav Traffic, if you dont than the isimple does work, i have it myself with tech package with XM Nav Traffic, and i had alot of problems with it but i ended up getting a bypass cable delivered to me, so now everything works perfectly, but dont bother asking where and how i got it, that i cant say.

Don't all 2007-2009 MDXs with Navi have XM Nav Traffic? In Canada (which is where I am), we don't have it, but in the US, all Navi MDXs have it right? So if the OP what's a solution for iPod integration with a Navi screen, is it safe to assume he HAS XM Nav Traffic?

I am also looking for a solution to this... so far, I'm skeptical anything will work at all. I may be lucky because of the lack of XM Nav Traffic, but still...

Elite - can you at least say via PM? If so, can you PM me the info please? This would solve many problems.

I'm a bit surprised to find the MDX forum has very little information on iPod integration as well as tweaking the Nav.

Does anyone know of a site that shows the tech differences between the years?

It looks like the new PA15-HON2 will work with the MDX with Rear Entertainment.

Here's a link to their site. You have to enter the car info on the left.

But it looks like it doesn't support XM text on cars that have a navi system. ARGH!
