Installed vizualogic overhead DVD player
Hi,
I have installed the vizualogic flip down DVD player in my 2010 MDX, I was considering to get it installed by car audio/video shop but then I decided to do it myself. I searched online for installation instructions and got some hints from the posts here in this forum and particularly one post in other MDX forum, thanks to all the members who posted their experiences which inspired me to do it myself.
I went ahead and took down the headliner completely, it wasn't difficult as I got the 3 days online subscription to express service honda and downloaded all removal/installation procedures, then I installed the two aluminium bars by attaching the with rivets on sunroof support and rear map light support, map light support was very thin, so I straighten the metal plate (it was sort of curved or rolled) then drilled holes for rivets and fixed the bars to provide the solid support for DVD bracket. After that it was easy to attach DVD bracket and mount the DVD player. Pictures have to be resized, so will post later.

Looks great!
I've had several similar systems installed for clients in their MDX's, however all have been done by the professional installers. Your end result looks the same. Getting the system mounted securely makes all the difference, versus a drooping or damaged headliner.
