Importing phonebook only gets some of the entries

Importing phonebook only gets some of the entries
When I import the phonebook from my Blackberry 8330 it only gets about a third of the phonebook entries in the phone. What gives?

I'm assuming you have a Tech Package...what year is the MDX? It seems as though the 2010 Hard Drive based Navi system is the only one that is consistent and will take ALL of your entries...previous years will only take up to a certain amount.

the MDX I believe will only import contacts saved to the phone and not the sim card. It sounds dumb but I ran into this problem with my PDA.
