Honda MDX 2003 (Australian release) 200K. I am looking for a repair kit for the brake MC. I couldn't find the cylinder or the repair kit online.
Some websites say that the Acura MDX 2003 is the same as the Honda MDX 2003 as they are the 1st generation. But my MC reservoir is not sitting on the cylinder. It's connected with tubes. There are some numbers on the cylinder body. Lucas 2952. another no. L 03153-15
^ Fun fact:
The USDM 03-06 2G MDX was the beginning of the 'drive by wire' throttle bodies.
The USDM 01-02 1G MDX had the 'drive by cable' throttle bodies.
With that said, based upon the 14mm; 1.5mm thread size / pitch it appears your MC may be more similar to the year 03-06 2G MDX; USDM part number 46100-S3V-A11. 46100-S3V-A11 Genuine Acura Master Cylinder Assembly (acurapartswarehouse.com) According to RockAuto spec sheet for the Cardone 113174 equivalent below:
The year 01-02 1G MDX USDM part number 46100-S0X-013 MC appears to have M10 X 1.0 46100-S0X-013 Genuine Acura Part (acurapartswarehouse.com) according to the RockAuto spec sheet for the Cardone 112931 equivalent below:
You can clearly observe that the 'port' holes are larger on the 113174 versus the 112931.
I only used the RA Cardone examples because of the similar pictures / spec. information for comparison; however, perform your appropriate due diligence because 'pictures', as they say, can be deceiving.
As far as the reservoir goes, you may be able to detach the existing black 'hose' fittings and transfer them to a new MC?
Here are the RockAuto options for each USDM part number. 46100-S3V-A11 46100-S0X-013

Thanks for your valuable info. I appreciate your help. As you said, the 46100S3VA11 looks similar to my one. I will try to get confirmation from RockAuto before ordering. I hope that the black connector can be replaced with the existing hose connector.
