HomeLink version

Hello all,
I have Acura MDX 2008 and my question is about Homelink system.
A couple of days ago I’ve installed Marantec garage door opener (xs.plus model with Digital 180 remote control unit operated on 868 MHz).
I was unable to program Homelink buttons in my car - the system doesn’t capture neither static nor rolling code.
After I contacted Marantec – they’ve suggested installing an additional module to allow getting 433 MHz from Homelink.
In a letter received from Homelink – they are saying that Homelink is operated in a range 286-399MHz.
But at the same time on Acura brochure it says that new vehicle Homelink system should be compatible even with 868 MHz garage door opener.
I’m completely lost than.
Can you please clarify what frequency Homelink system in Acura MDX 2008 uses?
It’s not a problem to buy add-on module but I need to be sure in getting a proper one.
Any thought?
Thank you in advance,

Does it say anything regarding this in the owner's manual?

Unfortunately it doesn't. There's only description of procedure for capturing code from remote unit. And I forgot to mention that I have contacted Homelink already, and they are saying - if in my Acura MDX 2008 Homelink system has version 7 – it should pick up code on 868 MHz and be compatible with the Marantec opener. But so far I have no luck to find the correct info.

Get it in writing. Then buy it. How much is the new module?

Not a big problem - around 200 USD. Just don't want to install something additional if there's a chance to get it do what it must do.
As for "writing" - think it's gonna be waste of time.
In any case that kind of info shouldn't be a secret IMHO
