Gen2 Fog H11 HID or LED???

Does anyone know the pros and cons of 3K LED fog vs HID fog??? I've never put in a PnP fog HID kit and I am cautious of melting the housing thats why I'm considering LED's. TIA.

If you anticipate getting useful light from the foglights then LEDs will not be any good. HID is the best but the fogs are fairly useless for light particularly in the USA where the idiots mandate the fogs only come on when the headlights are on which totally defeats the purpose and design of the fog lights.
Around 3000K is a good idea though. A cheaper way to go is a higher wattage 3000K halogen replacement. 100watts is a bit high because of the current draw but 85 should be OK.

yea i'm just afraid of melting the fog light housing... I'm probably going to grab the digital or volt brand PnP HID kit, still reseaching a good brand. Too bad TRS or morimoto doesnt make one... do they?
