Fix, Flip or Part out 2G MDX

Randomly bid on a copart auction and won an 08 MDX SH base. Has some damage to left front. But, still runs and can move under its own power. Decent paint and interior for the age.

https://www.copart.com/lot/70371373

This would be my 2nd 2G MDX. The other is a 08 Technology with around 170k, also SH. Minor clear coat peeling on rear bumper and some scuffs here and there. Other than that its been reliable for the short time I've owned it.

So, question is do I fix the damage on the wrecked one to flip, sell as is or part out?

That's a nice acquisition.
Besides the left fender and bumper face, if the lower arm, knuckle & front suspension subframe can be locally sourced / repaired, looks like a good runner?
Good Luck!

Thanks Zeta,
From what I saw the lwr ctrl arm and knuckle look fine. The tilted LF wheel is from twisted, bent mounting brackets on the strut itself

A replacement strut is on order and should be a relatively easy swap.

Nice, that is good fortune right there.
I see the auction was just a short jaunt north of you, in Tucson, to do an inspection, that's the best way.

Figured would give one last update... Finally had time to replace the damaged LF strut. Wheel rolls straight now.

But, more damage was found under the bumper cover

While the damage is not necessarily terrible, I really dont want to invest a bunch of time and money to fix it. So, sadly this will become a part out. Nevertheless I have some plans brewing already.
