Check your manual. The SH-AWD requires a flatbed tow.
What year is your MDX?
BTW - if your car is in Park then towing it leaves black skid marks all over the road when towing!

Yes it can as long as you aren't concerned about driving the car later as you won't have a transmission for long.

they will be able to drag it on a flatbed, but may damage the transmission if it's in park.

Anything can be towed. I have seen them hook whatever they can and drag it out to a position where it can be hooked up. Most tow operators can open most any vehicle-therefore no problem with e-brake. If they are polite they will quick jack (Nascar style) and dolly up the non-hooked wheels (rather than drag it). I saw a mercedes S-class repro'd in a tight downtown parking garage in this very way. Alarm-no problem-once inside they pop the hood and disconnect the battery. Be assured, if they really want to tow it-they will figure out a way to do it. As other have stated-some times to the detriment of the vehicle.
