Caliper & Rotor Replacement-07 MDX

I have tried to find some existing threads that talked about replacing calipers, but have struck out. We have an 07 MDX that has had a caliper seize. Got is loose once with our local mechanic, but it is bad again. I am going to replace them. Also have some vibration under braking, so will do rotors too. Any recommendations on the set up? Prefer not to spend a fortune and it just needs to stop reliably, We plan on keeping the car for our son when he starts driving in 2 years, so want to maintain it. Also live in Ohio rust belt, if that matters.

Any experience would be appreciated.

Thx

Ian

How long have you known this mechanic? Which caliper needs replaced?
Is this a local tire shop chain, like Midas?
You can get them to check you suspension, while the MDX is there, getting the brakes and rotors.

I used ebc rotors and centric pads all the way around. Rotors were $200 for 4 and I’m very happy with them. I used to use stoptech blanks and I like these better.

Mechanic is an uncle of a friend. Small private shop. Very trustworthy and only does what needs done.

I'll be doing the rotors and caliper change myself. Just looking for brand suggestion, or if it really matters.

Thx
