Bypass the DVD-ROM and navigation???
 

Hello :)
I just bought a 2004 MDX at an auction and have the "please check disc" message on the navigation screen. Is there any way to bypass so the climate controls are usable? I am looking at buying another DVD-ROM for it but honestly wonder how long a person can expect a 22 year old DVD player to work. Seems like there should be a work around or a way to eliminate the navigation completely... Anyone try this? Eventually we will all run out of options I think, lol...
