Hi, I have a 2006 Acura RL that I've been very happy with generally speaking (very reliable and comfy and feature-rich). I am needing to buy a used (or lease a new possibly) MDX or similar SUV.

I want my next SUV to have the blind spot detection system. That was introduced by Acura in the 2010 Advance package MDX. I'm trying to find a 2010 - 2012 MDX Advance for less than $35K and less than 36K miles in Los Angeles area.

Any ideas/comments/hints?

I bought my 2006 Acura RL in Dec 2009 for $25K and 36K. It has a spoiler, custom large wheels, navi and backup camera. Great deal at the time. It now has 95K and I'd like to sell it before the major service and any other issues like replaced headlamps, etc. which are costly with this car. thx.

i'm noticing a lot of VINs starting with "2H" like 2HNYD2H20AH504256. These vehicles originate in Canada and I believe the warranty is void in USA for these grey market vehicles.

My RL starts with "J" and it's Made in Japan. Are the MDX made in Japan as well?

Gray market cars? The MDX is built in Canada, hence the number 2 starting the VIN. The warranty is NOT void in the USA, as these cars are sold NEW here. I don't think any MDX's are made anywhere else other than Canada for up to the 2013 model year.
