2nd Gen (2007-?) MDX aftermarket wheel options
Hey guys.
New here. It seems that if you search around not too many sites list wheel options for the MDX. I just wanted to see if anyone on this site with aftermarket wheels can shed light on a few of my assumptions.
I'm looking to install 20" or 22" wheels in my MDX.
1. From my research it seems that I should go with 5x120 bolt spacing and an offset of between 35 and 45.
Is that the general consensus?
2. Also will the TPMS work with any aftermarket wheel. (don't know too much how they work)
3. What tire sizes are the most common with 20" and 22" setups? Which one would be the most similar to the stock set ups so that the speedometer will remain accurate.
Thanks guys

1.) 5 x 120 blt pattern, 64.1 centerbore 14 x 1.5 lug nuts, 8" width minimum, 32-40mm offset is ideal.
2.) depends on the wheel (our wheels are perfectly compatible).
3.) 255/45/20 is suggested, some people go with 275/40/20.
Here's a shot of the MDX with our wheels, the Legend Type II in 20":

Hey I love that MDX and Ody next to it...lucky fella there.
Rondog's wheels are the bomb and he's a genuine great person to deal with too!
Only suggestion, if your roads are not smooth...I would try to stick w/20" vs 22". I reside in W. Pa and the roads are very bumpy. My ride suffered a bit going from the OEM sport wheels to the 20's...I cannot imagine how rough the ride would be with 22's.
Feel free to PM me with any questions as that is my MDX above.
