2011 Mdx Advance Shaking / Vibration problem
I recently bought a Mdx and everything great except it vibrate / shake. It shake where you can feel it a little at low speed but at high speed it shake very noticeably. Now the steering wheel doesn't shake. I change new tires dws06 and i did have one minor bent wheel, but that was change out as well. Also the car does not vibrate at idle either.
Any help with this would be great.
Thanks.

Could there be a suspension problems since you had a bent wheel? There is also a chance the tires were rotated and the suspension problem could be at another corner. Have you done an alignment? Do you have Acura Care or another extended warranty like CPO? You might have to take it to Acura or a suspension shop if the alignment checks out.

I had strong vibrations down the road going 40-65 mph on highways after I got a much needed alignment. So after getting my alignment, the car would vibrate and steering wheel would slightly shake. I just got these items done a month ago because it was so bad.
Got the tires rotated soon after, and now everything is stable, no vibrations or shaking.

Forgot to add that when they did rotation, all 4 wheels were balanced as well. Just to reiterate, I got alignment, rotation AND balance. It solved my shaking/vibrating problem.

It is very possible they are out of balance. I had 4 tires mounted and balanced, took it out on the highway and it was vibrating and shaking like no other. Turns out all 4 tires were out of balance. Just because they say they are balanced, doesn't mean they are. If they balance machine is out of calibration it may say the tires are balanced when in fact they are not. Don't rule it out just yet. Also, being out of alignment won't cause the vehicle to shake/vibrate.

I would also check into doing a road force balance on top of the alignment check. They do it for free at Discount tires if you purchase tires from them. I usually do this when I put on new tires and just regular balance after that.

Alignment very rarely will cause shaking/vibrations, it's the bad tire wear from a bad alignments that can cause vibrations/noise since the tire isn't hitting the ground properly. This is easy to see visually.
Diagnostic test: Where do you feel the vibration?
Vibration in seat = Rear tires
Vibration in steering wheel = front tires
Balancing tires fixes issues with shaking esp that increases as your speed increases. Find a discount tire near you, most of them have the Hunter Road Force Balancers that ensure the tire is balanced properly.
Also with the DWS, make sure the tires have the proper amount of air and are warmed up. Cold tires can flat-spot and take a few miles to warm up and be pliable to remove the flat spot.
Bent rim causes vibrations that can be present in certain zones such as 45-50 and 72-77 such as a slight bend I had on a rear wheel on my 760.
Check your front and rear suspension bushings as well, if they are damaged they can contribute to vibrations felt.
Sometimes bad rotors can also cause vibrations, but it's rarely a possibility.

The tire are brand new with maybe around 1500-2000 miles on them now.So, it not the wear in the tires. the vibration probably from the rear.
I did balance the tires already but still shake. So next step is force balance but we dont have a discount tire here so I will have to go else where for this.
Also the car suspension bushing is all in good condition. I look at that before I even bought the SUV. No cracks or tears.
For rotors that isn't the issue for sure since it doesn't shake at all when i'm braking. So only thing that it leaves me to believe.
was CV axle, bad toe, or balance of tires. But IDK. I need to bring it to someone who can check this out.

Like someone else said, try balancing the tires using a different shop or same shop and insist on a different balance machine. I bot new BFG tires for my conv, they "balanced" at Costco but I had all kinds of vibration at 50-70 mph. They re-balanced using their other balance machine and it was perfect. Now super stable all the way to 100 mph and beyond.
