Besides, it makes sense that if the first 2010s hit dealerships in November/December, it would be about a month before they had enough in inventory to sell.
It seems you can never get a straight answer from any Acura dealership. When I ordered my '10 all my buddy would tell me is December. There was no mention of November. The big question I have is, does Acura fulfill personal orders first, or do the dealerships get their floor plan first? Also, what happened to the MDX diesel?

While surfing for info about the '10 MDX I found this info from the Alliston, ON Herald (Note the "Elite" model designation and prices.)

"The second-generation of Acura’s Canadianbuilt SUV goes after the likes of the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne, sporting an emphasis on performance and athletic handling. The 3.7-litre V6 produces an emphatic 300 hp, while the fivespeed automatic gearbox has a Formula 1-style sequential paddle-shifting mode. In addition to the Active Damper suspension, MDX also adopts the ingenious SH-AWD system from the RL sedan, resulting in neutral handling like that of a rear-drive sport sedan. The MDX is a seven-seater, though most comfortable for four. MDX comes in three trip levels: Base, Tech and Elite, each adding various levels of gadgets and toys. Other amenities include Tri-Zone automatic climate control and a 253- watt, eight-speaker audio system. Pricing starts at $52,500, with a loaded Elite rolling out the door for $62,055."
