I own a 2008 MDX tech/ent and the car has been in the shop for the last 5 days now - TSB related to suspension (clicking at the front and thumping at the rear suspension). Anyways, I have been driving a loaner 2010 MDX Tech or Advance, as they call it now. There are some nice things that i have noticed in the new MDX - Bluetooth audio, Weather info, phone setup using the nav (as opposed to voice) etc. The one that caught my eye was the HFL which now displays the incoming phone # on the nav unit. Is this a new feature? My 2008 does not do this. In the 2008, when i dial out a number, i can see the phone number on the MID but not on the nav screen.

Am I missing something on the setup of my MDX HFL?

No, what you've observed is totally new to the latest cars with HDD Nav system. 2009 and older MDX has the old Alpine DVD based system and not as sophisticated.
