I have a 2007 MDX and I am having issues with the settings I have set resetting after I restart the truck. I go to setup for example and set my brightness and guidance prompts. After I restart the truck, the settings are back to the original setting. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or need to do for to stop resetting on restarts?

your memory settings may be turned off, try holding the unlock and lock buttons on the remote for 3 seconds and see if it helps.

I actually checked the remotes that I was using and it was for L2. So I switched to L1, changed all the settings to how I want them, turned off the engine and removed the key and restarted and all of them were kept! But then found another problem that wasn't there before and that was the auto switching of the map color from day to night. This time, it kept the daytime map colors and my switch it on auto..Any ideas?

I tried this and for a while, it did work on the L1 remote but same issue I had with the L2 remote, it won't save any of the settings but the auto map color works..weird..i pressed the unlock and lock buttons again and it reverted back to the setting I had where all the setup I made were there but auto map color dont work..any ideas?
