2007 MDX, changed shock and now steering won't return to center after turning...

You know when you make a turn and you let the steering wheel return to top dead center, well after changing shocks, it wont return... I've had 3 alignments and they keep saying it's not the shocks but that's the only thing we changed and we didn't have the problem before. I'm not looking to keep throwing money at possible problems by the technician. Now they are saying the calipers are sticking which is bs because it happens left or right turns.

Any suggestions?

its weird because unless you changed to aftermarket shocks there is no way the shocks could affect the self center nature of the steering wheel.

I noticed a marking on the top shock mount that needs to be nearest the front of the mdx, when I changed my shocks, but I'm not sure that that would cause your problem.

perhaps they damaged the steering rack when they did the work

Best thing to do is take it to a shop and have them diagnose it. Alignment affects suspension geometry mainly in a straight line so during turning it doesn't help much. It could be that they installed the wrong shock or didn't install something properly.

I had them double check the OEM replacement with Monroe's part number. Maybe the Monroes are too soft, I dunno...

Have you tried alignment at a different shop or is it the same shop you did your shocks?
