2005 MDX multiple misfire after AC recharge?
I have had "multiple misfire" issue on MDX 2005 several months and several thousands miles ago. I replaced EGR and PCV and the problem seemed to be solved. Today I went to a local shop for AC recharge. They returned the car with "engine light" on stating that it was already on when I brought the car in. The diagnostics reads random misfire on all cylinders again. I would not blame them that they somehow caused it because I can't imagine how they can mess with the engine just filling the AC. But still, is that a possibility? The other question I have is, can EGR fail in such a short time causing the problem again? The car does not need valve adjustment, it has been already done.
