The 19" RDX Wheels just arrived

Found a killer deal on ebay and picked up a set of 19" RDX wheels that I'll be installing on my AWP 06. Wheels are in fantastic shape and at $110 a piece delivered to my door I could not be happier. Now I need to try and find a deal on some 255/55/19's tires and I'll be good to go.

What size tires should I get 255/55 or 255/50?

Try to get them as close to the stock size currently on your MDX otherwise your speedo will be off.

255/50/19 is an exact match while I believe 255/55 might fill the wells up a little bit better

255/55 is close enough to where your speedo will only be off by about 3%. Either should work.

ARX and FiftyFive

I am also going with 19s I think, I also want to fill the wells up nicly. Is there a way to recalibrate the speedo?
also if we go with the 255.55/19s will all the trip computer items, i.e. MPG, average MPG, distance to empty,
I would like to recal the speedo,

All will be affected, the dealership may be able to recalibrate it. I don't know if the extra /55/ is worth it over the /50/.

I decided to go with the 50's as they are less expensive and there are way more choices.

Bad news. After trying to install the wheels today without sucess, I found out that they sent the 19" wheels that fit the MDX, TL, RL. Not sure what I'm going to do now.

Sorry to hear that. Post them in the black market section of the forum. Maybe they can be useful to someone else on Azine looking for the RDX 19". Good luck with your decision

The wheel company agreed to take them back and refund in full as they have no 19 x 8 RDX wheels in their system, only 19 x 8.5. So, I'm going to have to postpone this project and stay with the stock 17" wheels. Anybody need a pair of Michelin Latitude 255/50/19's

If you only paid "$110 a piece delivered to [your] door", then I'd try to sell them. I'm not sure how you got that price, but they're going for at least $1,200 (a set of 4 without tires) on eBay.

Hey ARX,

I have a 2009 Honda Pilot Touring and would gladly buy the rims and the tires from you. Let me know if you want to sell them.

Wheels have been returned, tires have been sold. This project is over. Could have turned out much worse, but I do really like the 04+ touring wheels so I'll keep what I have and enjoy the superior gas mileage that the 17's offer considering gas in on its way back up.

Anybody that would like to purchase the wheels, give Jenny a shout at:

sales@wheelstiresandmore.com

Tell her you are interested in the MDX wheels that Paul returned. Great company to deal with.

Bringing an old thread back, I just picked up a set of brand new 19" RDX chrome-look A-spec wheels off of ebay for $475+$50 shipping plus 8% cash back (total $487 as 8% cash back applies to the purchase price only and not the shipping).

Package included 4 TPMS sensors and center caps, will be updating this thread soon once the wheels get installed. I wish that this deal was available around Thanksgivings day as the cash back was 22% back then .
